Blister packaging materials are the main raw materials for packaging production. After a whole piece of product is produced, it will be a small product, and then some products will be left behind. Learn more about the blister packaging industry to better understand materials. Commonly used materials in blister packaging plants are PP, PET, PVC, PE, etc.

1.PP material characteristics: good material flexibility, environmental protection, non-toxic, relatively high temperature resistance, poor plasticity, difficulty in plastics, lack of luster on the surface, showing matte

Sensory identification: This product is white transparent and has higher transparency than LDPE.

Identification of combustion: When burning, the flame is yellow and blue, smells like oil, melts and drops, and there is no black smoke when burning.

2. PET material characteristics: This material belongs to environmentally friendly materials, the hardness of the material is good, the transparency is strong, and the surface of the material is bright.

Sensory identification: This product is white and transparent, with a hard touch and a sound when it is smashed. Appears like PP.

Identification of combustion: There is black smoke when burning, and there is a flashover phenomenon in the flame. After burning, the surface of the material is black carbonized, and the black charcoal after burning of the fingers is powdery.

3. PVC material characteristics: It is one of the materials most used in blister packaging. The price is moderate, the toughness is strong, and the molding is good. If it encounters cold weather, it will become brittle and easily broken.

Sensory identification: The appearance is very similar to EVA but flexible.

Identification of combustion: black smoke when burning, extinguished from fire, the burning surface is black, no melting dripping phenomenon.

4. PP+PET material characteristics: This material belongs to composite materials, with good surface, abrasion resistance and good plasticity.

Sensory identification: Appearance is like PP, the transparency is very high, and the sound is louder than PP.

Combustion identification: There is black smoke when burning, the flame has a flashover phenomenon, and the burning surface is black carbonized.

5. PE+PP copolymer: It has low density, medium density and high density polyethylene, and it is soft to the touch. This kind of material is less used. Sensory identification: Compared with LDPE, the transparency of this product is much higher than that of LDPE. The feel is not different from LDPE. The tear test is very similar to PP film, and it is transparent and pure white.

Combustion identification: When the product is burned, the flame is all yellow, melted and dripped, no black smoke, and the smell is like oil.

According to the identification of these packages, it is better to accurately identify the features, and often confuse the difference in the cost of recycling, the company's production staff to identify in these ways.
